She began her career in the diamond industry with an HRD education in planning, grading, and sorting rough and polished diamonds, gaining hands-on experience in Congo-Kinshasa, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the UAE. In Dubai, she worked with a DMCC trading company active in the gold and diamond trade, further expanding her expertise and international reach.

Throughout her career, Xiomara has successfully facilitated major transactions in commodities, including precious metals and fine minerals, and secured significant funding for international projects. She has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor, collaborating with leading partners such as Latham & Watkins, PWP Partners, MECC Congo, and Cybele Energy Africa. With cultural fluency and a deep understanding of geopolitical and economic factors, she bridges Africa, South America, the Caribbean, the UAE, and Europe positioning herself as a global advisor and connector across markets.

Her work extends beyond deal-making into providing strategic guidance on procurement, investment, and cross-border negotiations.
